Despite the US-led economic downturn, worldwide IT spending will pass the $3.4tr mark in 2008 according to Gartner. Including the decline of the US dollar it still represent a predicted growth of 4.5% compared to 2007.

Wireless projects are part of this growth, we have seen recently large WLAN projects, new deployments (Heathrow Terminal 5 - 800 Aruba APs) or security improvements of existing WLAN infrastructures for global companies.

IT Managers are looking for a secured and easy access to their infrastructure via WLAN services. Althought they have a big and legitimate concern about WLAN security, IT Managers start to realize that a properly designed wireless network can be, nowadays, fully secured.

I've been working over the past four years in two different countries. First in Paris with Bluesafe, I have discovered, with very technical projects, enterprise-scale wireless networks. Then in London with Nscglobal, I have been working on large scale wireless projects where the technical part (implementation) is only an aspect of projects, altogether with preparation, plannification, design, implementation, optimization, customer-training (operation) ... PPDIOO ... necessary to work with over 1000+ Access Points spread over 200 sites wolrdwide.

I've defined some axis do develop my personnal project:
